I’m a Business Associate based in Vancouver, BC, with a background in hospitality and focused on leadership and management.
At its core, effective communication is what keeps economies, communities, and organizations moving forward. Recognizing it as the foundation of any thriving operation is why I have always sought to study, practice, and continually master it.
I started in hospitality. I earned my Hospitality Management Diploma from SELC Career College, graduating with the Excellence Award for Hospitality Management. I then worked as a bartender with Capilano Group and a server at PARC Retirement Living, where I coordinated across teams, trained new hires and learned to anticipate what guests needed before they asked.
As Restaurant Manager at Craft Beer Market, I resolved conflicts, built labour schedules around forecasts, managed inventory and coordinated daily closing. That experience taught me to delegate with trust and recruit people who raise the standard of the whole team.
Hands-on experience leading teams, scheduling around forecasts, managing inventory and keeping daily operations running. I communicate clearly, delegate with trust and back decisions with real data and evidence. I often look for process optimization opportunities.
I’m working toward management-level roles in hospitality with a project management focus, leading work such as openings, renovations and system rollouts, where success depends on aligning people. I bring floor-level experience and the communication skills to bridge front-line teams and decision-makers.
